Introducing Dusty Ray Bottoms follows the story of a New York City drag queen. When Dustin Rayburn moved out of his religious family home in Kentucky, Dusty moved to New York City and found himself and his “tribe.”

About the director:
Mercedes Barba is a video journalist from Los Angeles, Calif., whose fondness for video storytelling falls in the human interest realm. She is currently based in New York City and works as an associate video producer at Time Inc. Money. Introducing Dusty Ray Bottoms is Ms. Barba’s first documentary.
