After struggling with the childhood traumas and professional stagnation for a long time, Wood, a young mural painter, embarked on a 1,500-mile biking journey in 23 days across China to search for reconciliations and inspiration.

About the director:
Veronica Wangshen is a Chinese documentary filmmaker and visual journalist with a strong interest in data journalism. With prior academic training in history, art history and anthropology, she is particularly interested in sociocultural issues and humanity. 1,500 Miles, 23 Days is a story about self-healing through adventures that she’s been looking for Wangshen is currently residing in New York City, pursing her next documentary story about social justice.
